It all began with a passion for food and a deep love for nature. As a chef, I had the privilege of working with exquisite ingredients from around the world, but it was Thailand that kept calling me back. The vibrant culture, rich biodiversity, and the harmonious relationship the people have with nature inspired me early on.
Over the years I created relationships with local farmers, food artisans, manufacturers, engineers and countless others including Daniel Kelly, an experienced farmer and trader, and the man we affectionally refer to as "Thai Terry". Over several visits, we collaborated on what would become Ra.
As we continue on this journey, we're led by a solemn commitment to doing business with reciprocity and awareness. We're a new company and we're only beginning to explore ways to improve our practices, reduce waste, and give back to the communities that have nurtured us.
